The Beauty Spotlight Team!

I hope, wherever you are in the world, you’re having a wonderful day or evening. It’s 10:00 here on a Saturday night, and I’m putting the finishing touches on this post then beginning two more! Today was another day of training at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. We spent a lot of time in the Asian Art gallery. The art there is truly amazing, and the docents who spoke to us know more than I can ever hope to. One of them has been a docent at the IMA for 55 years! I know I’ll never approach that one! I keep wondering if I want to specialize in a gallery. I also have another presentation to make in two weeks’ time. I’m hoping I get it right! It’s time, though, for the Beauty Spotlight Team!

Plus, it creates a long slimming line just like black does only in more flattering colors. Angie at Your True Self Blog explores the ways to nail this style of dressing!

  1. I remember the pattern mixing you shared with your yellow and gray floral and gray and white striped cardi. So fun. I think florals and stripes pair very well together. Wasn’t too long ago I would have felt self-conscious about mixing patterns but so thankful I got over that.

    • Thanks, Leslie! Isn’t it funny the things we worried about? My mom would never have worn two patterns together. She thought that was just not done. I love how it awakens my creativity!
