The Beauty and Style Spotlight Team!

Our weather has been so up and down. I was hesitant to buy plants, but then I realized Sunday is Mother’s Day! I knew that would clear out lots of plants. So, I made my way to one of the best places around, Cox’s! I set myself a budget and came in well under it. The only problem? Now I have to plant all of those plants. As you all know, I have little garden space and use lots of containers. It’s kinda like the children’s book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, because I have most of the plants, but I need some spikes for the thriller. I also need more potting soil. And, I’m pretty sure I’ll find some other plants I need (hahaha). I did get several pots filled today as well as some cosmos up on the hump. I lost lots of plants due to our weird winter. Or, maybe, they didn’t like the hump…who knows! I’m hoping for a really colorful summer!

The lineup…

And that is why I have fun sharing my bloopers, on Nancy’s Fashion Style, twice a year. And I hope you will have even more fun reading it!”

  1. Hi, Marsha – You made me laugh because of all the plants and then having to do something with them! You were right, though, that it was high time to start, whatever the weather. Most of them are making it….I hope I actually get a round tuit. You’re doing good. And thanks for being a part of our team. – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    • Thank you, Angie! I’m so glad to part of the team! I finally got all of the plants in the ground or a container Tuesday. The worst part is bending over to put them in the pots. I got smart this time, and I put the smaller pots on top of the larger pots so I didn’t have to bend over as far. I didn’t have time to look around for more plants when I got the spikes and the dirt so no extra cookies were had by this mouse!
