The Beauty and Style Spotlight Team!

Wall Drawing, No. 652 by Sol Lewitt

I have scheduled my first public tour as a docent. I’m using up to four of my pieces I used for my graduation tour. I also signed up for two more tours in September. My daughter, who was a math major in college, told me, with six pieces prepared, I can make up 20 tours. That doesn’t seem quite right. It would seem like it should be a multiple of six, but I’m going to take her word for it. A new exhibit about rococo opened recently, and I’d like to do a tour there before it closes. If you’re ever in Indianapolis, let me know!

The lineup…

BANILA CO Clean It Zero Original Cleansing Balm is the perfect lightweight and hydrating K-Beauty cleansing balm that is a joy to use, and it is affordable. Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog gives this an A+.

A denim skirt is never out of fashion. Every season we see a new design but they always look stylish and modern. Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style loves denim skirts and shows how she wore one with a cool leather jacket. Also on her blog, last Friday, she is wearing a new denim skirt in a totally different style. You can also join the Fancy Friday linkup party there!

For girls on the go, age doesn’t matter when it comes to the need for a handy little makeup bag to keep everything at their fingertips. So Angie at Your True Self Blog tried out the advice in an article from The Zoe Report on How to Pack a Streamlined Makeup Bag. Angie found this to be a big help in keeping her makeup from cluttering her bags and hopes it will help you, too!

Marsha of Marsha in the Middle just cannot, for the life of her, define her style.  She has taken the style quizzes, read blog posts about personal style, and studied what she reaches for again and again in her closet.  But, what she can tell you are the things she doesn’t like and won’t wear.  But, Marsha also says, “Never say never!”  Read more at Marsha in the Middle.

Curious how to take your skincare results to the next level? Barbie’s Beauty Bits shares that while skincare products are essential, true transformation often happens when you combine them with targeted treatments. In her latest guide, Beyond the Skincare Bottle: Non-Surgical Anti-Aging Treatments, she explores powerful, non-invasive options like microneedling, LED therapy, and radiofrequency that can help you achieve smoother, firmer, more radiant skin—no scalpel required.

Have you tried Moringa Oil from the “Miracle Tree” yet? Allison from Never Say Die Beauty has been using Oshin Oil, a lightweight organic oil made from Moringa and other organic oils on her summer dry skin, and her skin is so soft for so loooooong. Check it out!

Thank you!

I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for reading, commenting, subscribing or emailing! It truly means so much to me! If you’d like to follow me on Instagram, you can find me here.

    • Thanks, Cat! Mike and I went to the museum on Friday and did a run through. I was surprised at how much he remembered and could identify. I’m going to have to practice to get it all back into the old brain! I’m also going to add a fourth piece. Then, I scouted out some other pieces for another tour.
