If you want to define middle, you could say it’s central. For many years, what was central to me was my career as a teacher. I retired several years ago and just kind of drifted. But, here I am smack dab in middle age and also in the middle of finding out what the next part of my life will be. One of my favorite memories is a day my mom, right out of the blue, bought me a new outfit. I can still see it laying on the kitchen table. A blue knit jumper with a black blouse that had a blue floral print just waited for me! She’d even bought me black velvet Mary Janes! That was decades ago, and the memory is as clear as ever. I’m passionate about fashion and finding what works for my body. I’m not an apple; I’m not a pear. I’m a zucchini! I’ve decided that fruit best describes me!
