Last month, I predicted we would have some more snow before the end of the month. And, I think we did, but if we did, it was just flurries. On Tuesday, April 2nd, we had snow flurries again! Mother Nature is not reading her calendar! As far as March coming in like a lion or lamb, I’d say it came in like a lamb and left the same way. We were very fortunate here in Central Indiana and didn’t have any severe weather. We did have thunderstorms Sunday or Monday night, but nothing to write home about (or in a blog).
10 on the 10th…
As usual, I wrote these things without giving any consideration to my own answers! Yikes! But, I have to tell you I am so excited for Monday! We are in the path of totality for the eclipse. Now, I am making another prediction because Indiana just seems so contrary in soooo many ways. My prediction is it will be cloudy and maybe even raining on Monday! I had thought to buy tickets to an event at Newfields, but I’m sure glad I’m not. The roads are expected to be jam packed for hours before and after the eclipse. If it does rain, I feel badly (but not too much) for those people who spent lots of money going to various places to see the eclipse. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is less than ten miles from our house. They are having some kind of event there as are lots and lots of places in and around Indianapolis. But, I digress. Hi Marsha I love these questions so hoping to join you this month for the 10 on the 10th. The solar eclipse will be very exciting but I don’t think we will be in the path as it will mainly be over the Northern US. I look forward to the photos though.
Oh, I’m glad you’re going to maybe join in, Sue! You don’t have to answer all of them. Many people skip some of them. I think the eclipse is going to be so cool! I can’t wait, but I’m almost positive it will be cloudy! That’s just the way Indiana is! If there’s something cool going on in the night sky, it’s almost always cloudy!
