Week 176! It has been a busy week! Nigel’s therapy is going well, and he’s feeling more confident about walking. Although I haven’t done any fall decorating in the house, I did manage to do the front porch (such as it is). I’m hoping to get the fall decorations out this weekend. I have a …
Week 175! Oh, y’all! My heart is full. I just got home from my oldest granddaughter’s choir concert. It’s so wonderful to see how she’s grown in this. She just sparkles! More good news, too! Nigel began physical therapy at the place he went with the first two replacements. They are much better equipped to …
Week 174! This is going to be an abbreviated WTJR because I have to pack for my retreat this weekend, go through my presentation one more time, and several different errands. It’s going to be very warm and humid at the retreat. I hope I’m not too cranky! Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic …
Week 173! I want to take just a little time to thank my cohosts! They are the best! If I’m late getting the link code to them, no one complains. They get it…time gets aways from us. If I’m really late, one of them will remind me, and I appreciate that. This has been a …
Week 172! OK, I’m just gonna say it! I’m done with summer. If you want it, please come get it. I’m tired of being hot. I’m tired of the AC running constantly. I’m tired of endless watering of the plants I loved so much back in May. I’m tired of trying to figure out how …
Week 171! This has been a week of practicing my Colleague Feedback tour over and over and over again. Nigel tells me I’m ready, but I just know I’m going to fluff something! I have two very good friends coming who know the VTS protocol so that should help quite a bit. With a VTS …
Week 170! I know I told you last week there had been lots of rain in Central Indiana. Well, we got even more Friday, and many communities were flooded. Our yard is still squishy in some spots. The mowers finally came, but our yard looks terrible. I don’t really blame them because they have other …
Week 169! Wowza!! Have we had rain or what? I don’t know how much we’ve gotten in the last few days, but it’s been a lot! There are flood warnings for some of the counties in Central Indiana. We aren’t in any of those. The dandelions are quite happy about it! Every morning, I poke …
Week 168! I got my hair cut this week, and I love it right after I’m done styling it. Then, because it’s so thin and fine, the style disappears within a few minutes. So, if anyone has any tips for holding or has a fabulous hairspray that isn’t really wet, I’d love to know! I …
Week 167! How is it in your neck of the woods? It’s been warm here, verging on hot. I am saddened by all the news of wildfires around the world. I’ve never been to Paris, but I heard one of the wildfires in France is three times the size of Paris. That is truly heartbreaking. …
