Week #75!
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
How has your week been? It’s been another week with no excitement…read that as boring! OK, I take that back. I did attend two of the three days of my women’s retreat for my church. I was a presenter for two sessions, and I think they went well. I even made it back home easily. Other than that, I haven’t done much else but write blog post and articles! I need to get busy on my presentation for our mini retreat in March. I know it seems a long way away, but it will be here soon. Our weather has cooled off, and we’ve had a bit of rain. The hurricane is supposed to send more rain our way. We seriously need it though I hate that it comes at the cost of others.
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam
Featured favorites from last week…
And, now, it’s your turn!
Please link up your favorite posts, DIY, baking, gardening, fashion…you name it…as long as it’s family friendly! Don’t forget some of your older posts might be just right for this time of year! Link up with me, visit a couple of others, and leave a comment or two! No worries if you don’t have a blog, just look around! You may find a new blog just waiting for you!
So happy to be part of your Weekend Traffic Jam Marsha and sure it will increase with a good diversity of posts. You’re only planning ahead but have to say that we’re already heavily into layering up in the UK with cold winds and intense rainfall.

I’m so glad you’re here, Pamela! I haven’t ever been to the UK in winter, but I’ve been there in late fall and know how windy and cold it is then. I’m pretty sure I’ll have the warm clothes, and my son will get me to buy him something there!
Thanks, again, for joining us, Pamela!
We are on fall break: the boys got an extra 2 days with school being canceled because of the storm. We will go play outside and get all the wiggles out this afternoon with a bike ride.

I hope you are all safe, Mireille! I have been shocked to see how badly areas are flooding more inland. We have gotten fierce winds and lots of rain, and we’re in Central Indiana!
Thanks!
Marsha,
My Link Ups for this week are numbers 28, 29 ans 30!!
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are having a great week!!

You are so welcome, Deb! I hope your week is fantastic!
Your retreat sounds wonderful! I hope you are doing well!
It really was so nice even though I had to leave early. We were out in nature so it was beautiful. Thanks, Erin!
Thank you for the party.
You’re welcome, Amy!
Sounds to me like you had a busy week, Marsha! I’m thinking of the people in Florida and the devastating impact the hurricane has left behind! Thanks for hosting us all each Friday, Marsha!
Thanks, Laura! I have been shocked by the videos I’ve seen…especially from Asheville, NC. It’s beyond belief. And, you’re welcome for the link up!
We really need some rain too; all the streams we usually hike over are all dried out!
We have gotten rain the last two days with more expected. We usually do get rain when there’s a bad hurricane, but it is unusual for it to come so quickly as well as high winds.
Thanks!
Marsha, thanks so much for the feature for the Halloween entranceway. I loved putting that together. Enjoy your”boring” time. The storm went through our area and our whole county is without power for probably a week or so. Not much fun but it’s a bit like going back in time. I really appreciate modern electricity when something like this happens. Prayers go out to people who lost their homes in this storm.
Lynne
Oh, Lynne! I do hope your power is soon restored. We have had high winds and torrential rains here in Central Indiana. I can’t imagine what’s been happening where you are. The videos I’ve seen are heartbreaking. Definitely sending prayers to all in Helene’s path.
Thanks for linking up with us!
Sometimes boring is nice! I’ve enjoyed the calm of not driving for almost six weeks and being at home more. That will all change next week when I can drive again and resume being a chauffeur to the teenager!

I agree with you, Emma! Boring can be nice for a period of time, but then it gets to be a bit too much. I hope your teen appreciates your chauffeuring her!
Thanks!
Thanks for hosting this great party. Hope that you have a wonderful week.
You are welcome, Patrick! I hope your week is quite fabulous!
