June 10 on the 10th: Preview!

June is off to a beautiful start. We have had the most gorgeous weather though storms are forecast for the next day or so. I also love thunderstorms so all is well. My plants are doing well, though one of my salvias has mites. It’s funny because last year, I had the same problem with the same kind of plant. I need to get them taken care of before they spread. It’s time for another 10 on the 10th, and I think you’ll like this one! It’s time for Would You Rather!

10 on the 10th…

If you’ve been reading my blog for very long, you’ll know I’m a retired teacher. One of the things my corporation made us do (and I do mean made us do) was incorporate Highly Effective Teaching which had been Integrated Thematic Instruction. This was a mode of teaching developed by Susan Kovalik. While I absolutely detested some of the things we had to do (we could only use navy, burgundy, forest green, and brown as main colors in our classrooms), I did like some of the things. And, that’s when I discovered Would You Rathers. Now, the WYRs I played with my students tended to be a little more on the boogers and bathroom side as I taught fourth grade. But, they could get the same questions time after time and love every minute of it. As you can probably tell, I did, too! I hope you’ll participate and join in on all the fun with this month’s prompt. There will also be a link party on the 10th! Remember, your posts don’t have to specifically be 10 on the 10th posts.

Thank you!

I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for reading, commenting, subscribing or emailing! It truly means so much to me! If you’d like to follow me on Instagram, you can find me here.

  1. Cute questions! Sometimes I would play Would you rather with some of my students when we only had a few minutes of speech therapy left. It was a great way to get them laughing!

  2. I’m hopeful I’ll have time to answer these questions this weekend and link up… but I may not. I’ll just have to see how the weekend goes but these are some fun ones and I already know my answer to a few of them.

    • Feel free to link up whenever you can. You can call it 14 on the 10th or whatever you need if you want.

      Thanks, Joanne!

  3. Ooh, Marsha, these are difficult WYRs! It is going to be fun to think them through, for sure!

    • That’s funny you think they’re difficult. For the first time, I think, I was able to answer them fairly quickly. I can’t wait to see your answers!

      Thanks, Shelbee
