Week 119!
I’m writing this with fingers and hands that have been viciously attacked! I have little wounds all over. Jack, you say? No. Nigel wielding his cane like a sword? Double no! I had some dead branches in one of my rose bushes and was cutting them out of it. I didn’t feel anything at the time. After I started putting things away, I noticed little bitty thorns sticking out of my hands in all kinds of places. Nigel advised getting tweezers. Nah! I just used my teeth and spit them out! That’s how much a lady I am! Anyway, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Nancy from Colors 4 Health.

Nancy is “a Tucson based Health and Lifestyle Writer, Wellness Blogger, and Author. With more than two decades of experience forming words into published prose for newspapers, presses, and online, I pen non-fiction content, news briefs, investigative reports, and blog posts on-target and on-time.
Over one hundred of my freelance articles and essays have appeared in publications that include the New York Times, L.I. Newsday, American Profile Magazine, Lovin’ Life After 50, Natural Awakenings Magazine, and other health, women’s, and lifestyle magazines.

My passion is to help others improve the quality of daily living. I do that by communicating effectively, as I share health and lifestyle ideas and tips on this website, at my blog Colors 4 Health and in the articles and content I write for publications and business concerns.

Yikes, those rose bushes can be tricky to deal with for sure! Hope your hands heal up soon.
Thanks, Joanne! They were little thorns…I was using hyperbole!!! I honestly didn’t know they were there until I brushed against them.

You are so welcome, Kellyann!
You had me chuckling as I visualized you plucking those thorns out of your fingers with your teeth, Marsha! I would probably do the same thing! I hope your hands heal quickly! Thanks, as always, for offering this link up each week! We always enjoy connecting and learning!
You are so welcome, Laura! I knew I could do a better job with my teeth than with tweezers! They were just little guys! I’m glad I gave you a chuckle, though!
Ouch! That sounds painful and pretty impressive if you could pull out the thorns with your teeth!

Well, they didn’t hurt unless I brushed against them which is the only way I knew they were there. And, using my teeth meant I could get them out faster than looking for tweezers!
