Week 126!
The weather here in Central Indiana appears to have changed to real Fall rather than False Fall. The leaves are finally beginning to turn, and the plants are saying goodbye. I’m ready to be done with plants and have gotten rid of several already. Sue has decided to step away from the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. We will miss her but wish her the best! Anyway, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT.
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Valerie from Maple Leopard!

Valerie says, “i & Welcome! I’m Val , Canadian born, Vancouver BC raised! Here you’ll find top resources to plan your dream trip: In the USA, Canada & Europe. We are experts in travel to Portugal , the Pacific Northwest, Vegas and other Hidden Gems Around the Globe. Thx for joining my journey!” You can find Val here, and please tell her we sent you!
Wouldn’t you like to know more about your hostesses? We’ve got you covered there! Please feel free to drop by the others to see what their blogs are all about! We are a very diverse group of bloggers. Links to each blog appear below.
Marsha from Marsha in the Middle started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity. Oh, who are we kidding? Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write!
Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household – The name says it all, we homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing this land. I cook and bake from scratch, between gardening and running after the chickens, and knitting!
Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and more.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! The weather is supposed to cool down starting Sunday so many real fall is coming here too: I do see some morning lows in the 40s! I did see a few new zinnias have sprung (must be from when I was pulling the rest out so we shall see if they make it!

Thanks, Mireille! I love zinnias, but I haven’t planted any in years. I will need to remember that for next year. Of course, the bunnies will probably eat them! We hit the 80s on Saturday, then a cold front came through. The high on Sunday is only supposed to be in the 50s. But, I’m all for that!

Yeah, fall weather seems like it’s here for real too and I spent last weekend swapping out any last spring/summer clothes I had in the closet for all the fall and winter stuff.
Thanks, Joanne! We hit the 80s today. Then a cold front came through, and the high tomorrow is only in the 50s! I need to go through my winter sweaters and see if there are any I want to donate or consign.
Hi, Marsha – It looks like today, October 19th, is the beginning of Fall temperatures in Michigan this year — staying in the 60’s, going down to 50’s and no more 70’s and above. I have to get myself out to tend to the plants. And it would be nice to get Christmas decorations up. I usually wait till November when my fingers freeze out there! Your link up is doing well – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com
Hi, Angie! We had 80s yesterday (the 18th), and then a cold front blew through in the afternoon. It was in the 50s and raining (which we desperately need) all night. I don’t think we made it into the 60s today. I love this weather, though. You can cozy up under a throw and read a good book. I don’t do much decorating outside except around the front door. That’s a good idea to do a little bit of it soon! Have a wonderful week, and thanks for the comments!
