Weeks 146!
Well, Nigel seems to have passed all of his tests so we are just waiting for next week to come and go. I am anxious, hopeful, a bundle of nerves, and feeling all kinds of ways. I honestly don’t know what we will do if this revision is unsuccessful. I am not going to think that way, though. I’m pulling up my big girl pants and buckling down for what’s ahead…sleepless nights as I administer pain meds, monitor his incision (ewwww), and watch him for signs of blood clots. I am trying my best to be positive. I appreciate all of your words of positive affirmations! Y’all are the best! Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I’m not sure about times right now, but I will still be aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Paula from Musings and Glimpses on Faith, Flavor & Home.

Paula writes, “Hey everyone! Welcome, welcome, welcome to my brand new online space: Musings & Glimpses on Faith, Flavor & Home!
Okay, I know what you’re thinking: “Paula, what are you up to now?” Most of you know me from my home site, Grace Filled Moments, or my book blog, Between The Bookends. And you’re right to wonder!
This middle-aged Gen X gal has so much more to share – musings and glimpses, if you will! We’re talking about everything that pops up in midlife, like extra doses of encouragement, the joy of small-batch comfort food, the art of apartment and small-space living, clever solutions for everyday life, small-space decorating tips, fun, small-space entertaining ideas, humor, and so much more. And let’s not forget my love for nostalgia (Gen X anyone?)! There are so many stories to tell and memories to share. Do you remember?
This new website has been brewing for a while, a real labor of love born from prayer thought, and a lot of chatting with Jesus. You see, Grace Filled Moments was starting to feel a little… wonderfully full, but maybe a tad… overflowing! Let’s be honest; it was bursting at the seams! My brain is a whirlwind of ideas, and if you’ve ever heard the saying “getting your ducks in a row,” well, I’ve got squirrels. Lots of them. And they’re loose.
I kept wanting to add more categories because, let’s be honest, this middle-aged Gen X gal has a lot of thoughts.
I didn’t want new topics to overshadow the true heart of Grace Filled Moments, which is, and always will be, Jesus, my heart, Christian living, encouragement, and those relatable “You too? I thought it was just me!” moments.”
So, here we are! A fresh space to explore those extra thoughts, passions, and side trips. Musings & Glimpses on Faith, Flavor & Home is where we can explore all these things together.
I invite you, my dear friends, to join me on this new adventure. Let’s share some Musings & Glimpses on Faith, Flavor & Home together. I’m so glad you’re here!” You can find her here, and please tell her we sent you!
