Welcome to the May preview of 10 on the 10th! Y’all, I just can’t seem to get it together lately. Granted, there’s a lot on my mind, but I should be able to read my doggone editorial calendar! Anyway, this month is going to be 10 on the 13th! That gives you a few days to prepare, but I’m very sure you’re up to the task! As always, there will be a link party, too, so feel free to share this with your buddies!
Here in Central Indiana, May is all about cars…specifically, Indy 500 cars. But, we’re going to take a different track (get it…track). So, tell us all about your ten favorite cars of all time. Imagine you won the lottery or inherited a fortune from a long lost aunt. What cars would you buy? Or, if you prefer not to buy them, just tell us about the ones you dream about. What’s that you say? You can’t come up with ten? Not to worry, my friends. Just tell us about the number of cars you do dream about…the ones that may have gotten away, or the ones you’ve hankered after since you were a teeny bopper (does anyone say that anymore). It’s always nice if you add a little context, too! And, remember, you don’t have to have a blog to play along. You can answer in the comments or send me an email! I can’t wait to see your favorites.

I’ll have to sit this one out. I don’t drive (although I have a license) and I’m not interested in cars at all 🙂 I always said I would only get a license (driving school is expensive ehre) for an old VW Beetle convertible because I like how old Beetles look, but I never had one.
No problem, Cat! We had an old Beetle when we were first married. It was so old, it didn’t even have a heater. It also smelled old. When we traded it in on an old truck, we found out it had been stolen! They tried to make us repay them what they’d given us!
I’m going to be sitting this one out too as all I know about cars is usually the color… and that’s about it. Plus all my trip recap posts are done and scheduled for pretty much the entire rest of May.

Oh wow I don’t have 10 cars I just have two lol. I hate driving, although I can drive. I may sit this one out, but can’t wait to read yours.
I don’t have 10 cars, either, Kita! But, I can dream, and that’s what I’d like everyone to do! It’s OK if you don’t play along this month.
I love cars and racing cars too….but I only have one(Toyota CHR) in my garage (and so has my sweetheart). I drive Toyota since about 30 years and are very satisfied. But the real impressing cars for me are the old Formula 1 cars of the 60th and 70th —maybe 80th. And the old Porsche 356 (that one of James Dean) . I like cars that had to be driven without many gimmicks.

Thanks, Violetta! We live only a couple of hours from where James Dean grew up and is buried! That car was gorgeous, wasn’t it? And, now, we live close enough to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that we can hear the Indy 500 going on if the wind is blowing in the right direction!
