The Beauty Spotlight Team!

It has been a tough few days for the community I now call home. I really need to start thinking of it as home. We’ve been here for ten years. Thank you to everyone for your kind comments about the recent storms. I’m not sure if just one tornado hit Brownsburg, but it was a category F2. Tornados are classified by windspeed. The highest rating is an F5. I don’t ever want to experience just an F2 again. But, it’s time for the Beauty Spotlight Team!

The team…

Western fashion is a classic and timeless way of dressing, so age doesn’t matter. It’s also a great way to ride into the new season in style! Angie at Your True Self Blog shows you how to get an easy Western look.

If you love to cook, and you enjoy high quality kitchen tools, then Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog highly recommends Rösle Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls– they are a total game-changer!

Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style shares a post with tips for self care. In our busy lives and the chaotic world around us, we can use a bit of relaxing time for ourselves and tips for an efficient way to take care of our body and mind.

Marsha at Marsha in the Middle does a monthly recap on Final Fridays.  You can read about what she read, what she watched, what she bought along with lots of other things!

April Fools or fabulous? From snail slime serums and bee venom creams to vampire facials and butt masks, the beauty world has officially lost its mind, or has it? Barbie’s Beauty Bits rounded up 10 outrageous beauty products that sound like a joke… but are totally real (and some actually work!).

Spring might mean lighter skincare products. If you’re thinking of lightening up your facial cleanser, Allison from Never Say Die Beauty suggests that you consider affordable K-beauty brand #OOTD Green Plum Low pH Cleansing Gel. Green Plum is known for its hydrating and skin-soothing benefits that are perfect for sensitive skin and also for those with acne. Check it out to learn more!

Thank you!

  1. I had a chuckle over the butt masks!! LOL. I have been “slugging” at night before bed and I love it, but I am not using any actual slime products in the slugging, despite the name. Lol. Wyatt would be very upset with me if I did, with his love of snails!

    • I know…I definitely had to read that one! I have read that snail slime is really good. I don’t really know how they get it, though. I’m not sure if I slug or not. I haven’t been using a nighttime oil for a bit now. I do use a very thick moisturizer at night. I love playing with different kinds of skincare!
