The Beauty & Style Spotlight Team!

Today, my docent class “toured” the Lilly House at Newfields. While many call it the Lilly House, its actual name is Oldfields. It wasn’t built by the Lilly family but by the Landon family. It underwent a complete renovation from 1998-2002. I cannot wait to lead tours there. Not sure who the Lilly family was? Think Eli Lilly. Still not sure? Maybe, think insulin…the Lilly Company became the first mass producer of the life saving drug. If you’re ever in the Indianapolis area, visit Newfields AKA the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the gardens, and especially the Lilly House, and maybe you’ll see me there!
