Week 120!
My fingers and hands quickly healed from the attack of the rose bush last week. I may have gone overboard in cutting away the dead stuff because it looks a little lopsided. It just insists on growing taller and taller instead of out. When I dead head that particular bush, I try to trim it down a bit. Strangely, almost all my cosmos plants have decided to give up the fight. I’ve got a few that are still hanging on for dear life, but the others have gone to seed. The bunnies ate my mums all the way down as well as my hollyhock. Doggone things! But, they need to eat, too. Anyway, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm. Sue won’t be posting for a few weeks as she’s on holiday in the UK and then Norway! Have a wonderful time, Sue!
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Sally from Within a World of My Own.

Sally says, “My life is a musical. And during this strange pandemic year, I am feeling more than ever like Alice in (my top 10 favorite movie) the 1951 Disney “Alice in Wonderland,” living in a world of my own. With so much time and attention devoted to my idiosyncratic obsessions and the analysis thereof (because there is no such thing as a good hobby that doesn’t involve building spreadsheets), I realized that the only missing piece was a written narrative.
I thought: “Oh sure, what the world needs now is another middle-aged fat lady blogging about clothing, outfits, capsules, and wardrobes. Not really. But also…maybe yes?” Because on reflection, it’s not as though there are so many of them already. And there certainly is not one that has enough rabbit content!
So here we are!” You can find Sally here, and please tell her we sent you!
Wouldn’t you like to know more about your hostesses? We’ve got you covered there! Please feel free to drop by the others to see what their blogs are all about! We are a very diverse group of bloggers. Links to each blog appear below.

Marsha from Marsha in the Middle started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity. Oh, who are we kidding? Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write!
Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household – The name says it all, we homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing this land. I cook and bake from scratch, between gardening and running after the chickens, and knitting!
Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and more.
Sue from Women Living Well After 50 started blogging in 2015 and writes about living an active and healthy lifestyle, fashion, book reviews and her podcast and enjoying life as a woman over 50. She invites you to join her living life in full bloom.

You are so welcome, Penny! I hope your weekend and upcoming holiday are wonderful!
Laura’s post helped me with my trip packing too; I had been looking for some cheap waterproof pants to bring with me hiking and I love the pair she recommended.
I thought it was fascinating to read, especially after reading her series on her trip. Now, I want to go to Iceland!
Thanks for the link up Marsha!

Happy Labor Day Weekend to you, too, Deb! Thank you for linking up with us!
Thanks so much for hosting another great link up, Marsha! You are kinder to the bunnies than my hubby is! He gets so frustrated when they nibble away at our lilies and hostas! Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
You’re welcome, Laura! My son has told me I need to buy something to keep them away, but I’m not going to do anything this year. I think I may plant marigolds around next year. I hope you have a fantastic long weekend!
Thank you for the spotlight on my blog, Marsha! And the rabbits of the world appreciate your service, planting such yummy things for them to eat 🙂
You are welcome, my friend! I have a pot with moss roses “growing” in it. Those little stinkers will let them get big and bloom, then they eat them right down to the nub! Oh, well! They need to eat, too!
Auuuughhhh! Silly bunnies!
Hahaha!! Yes, there are several silly bunnies around. I think there was a mama so I’m now feeding a family! Thanks, Olivia!
Your bunny stories always make me smile. We have had all kinds of creatures in our backyard this year, deer, foxes and armadillos, but I have never seen rabbits.

Thanks, Mireille! I have actually seen them on our porch, nibbling at my plants. I think there was a mama who had babies so I’m feeding a family now! Armadillos? Wow! We are in the city limits now and don’t see the other critters like deer and fox. We did see those as well as coyotes as our last house.
Thank you for hosting! My mum gets wild bunnies too. I get excited when I see them, she does not! The garden damage being the reason…Ha!
You’re welcome, Lydia! I like seeing them, but I wish they’d dine on the plants I don’t like that much!
Thank you so much for the feature! How kind.
