Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Weeks 145!

I hope all of you have had a wonderful week. If you read my post yesterday, you know life is about to get very busy for Nigel and me. He has a couple of pre-op appointments before the big day on March 10th. He just told me he will have physical therapy three times a week for a bit. I’m going to have to cancel some of the tours and gallery conversations I had scheduled during the month. But, it will be so worth it; I just know! Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I’m not sure about times right now, but I will still be aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?

As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Brenda from Becoming HIS Tapestry.

Brenda says, “Hi, my name is Brenda.  I am a Christian first,  a wife (of twenty eight years, to God be the glory!)to a wonderful, amazing man.  A mom to two beautiful girls who were homeschooled, a daughter, a sister and a friend and a teacher.

Why ‘becoming His tapestry?’  The answer is quite simple actually… Because that is my goal, that is the prize! I want to be my Lord and Savior’s tapestry. But for now, I am becoming…. I am in the process of becoming, of allowing my Master to weave the various threads of my life into His Masterpiece. Here are a few of these threads,my love for the Lord,  my love for my family, my love for homeschool (I enjoy spending time with my girls), my love for… shhhhhhh…fashion, beauty and shopping. The purpose of this blog is to bring the Lord glory by sharing with you, tidbits of my life, to encourage and edify you as we journey  along  this path called life.” You can find her blog here, and please tell her we sent you!

Cat from Cat’s Wire is a bookworm, movie fan, crazy cat lady, armed with beads, cabs, wire and a very jumpy brain which loves to go down rabbit holes!

Rena from Fine, Whatever writes about style, midlife, and the “fine whatever” moments that make life both meaningful and fun. Since 2015, she’s been celebrating creativity, confidence, and finding joy in the everyday.

  1. I’m chuffed to get picked again – I do love Kusama so I’m happy her appeal is shared and celebrated by others! Like this week I took mum to The Gatsby Ballet and it prompted her to read the book…I feel I made that happen, and I delight in anyone reading it! Thanks as always for hosting and fingers are crossed for your husband’s progress….

    • You are welcome, Lydia! I love the whimsy of Kusama and her devotion to her art. We had one of her infinity rooms at the museum (before I was a docent). It was amazing! I would love to see The Gatsby Ballet. I didn’t know there was one. Did you like the movie with Leonardo di Caprio? I just didn’t see him as Gatsby. But the costumes were gorgeous! Thank you for the crossed fingers!

  2. I’m still working on the cats crossing their paws, too!
    Have a great weekend 🙂

  3. Thanks for hosting the party Marsha!
