Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #38

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food for Hungry People, and Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, are joining me for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. But, we’d love to have even more co-hosts. If you’re interested, please comment or email me!

It has been quite a busy week here at Haus der Mitte! I had a Bible Study meeting Monday night, bell choir rehearsal Tuesday night, a cake to bake for Advent meal on Wednesday, and our Friendship Christmas program on Thursday. I haven’t baked a single Christmas cookie! I think I may do a bit of that on Saturday. I still need to finish my shopping, though. I guess I’d better get that done soon, right? It’s funny how my life is so free and easy for weeks at a time, and then along comes a week like this one! I know, I know…at least I’m not working!

The three of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

  3. Those mason jars are adorable! I might could pull that off myself? Maybe? 🙂 Merry Christmas!

    • They really do look easy, don’t they? Once upon a time I had several dozen Oui yogurt jars. I could never find anything to do with them until we used them for a church function!

      Thanks, Lisa!

  4. How fabulous are those mason jars!!

    • Aren’t they great? I think I could manage them…I wonder if you could buy those clear ornaments and cut them in two? They might not be the right size, though.

      Thanks, Lydia!

  10. It sounds like you’ve had a packed and festive week at Haus der Mitte! From Bible Study to bell choir rehearsal and baking for the Advent meal, it’s clear that the holiday spirit is in full swing. Don’t worry about the Christmas cookies; Saturday baking sounds like a perfect plan!

    • Thanks, Melody! I actually didn’t bake until Monday evening. But, I have a couple different cookies yet to bake and shopping to finish. I had a very full week last week, but I think this week is a little slower.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
