Week #62!

How has your week been? We have had the wildest weather here. OK, it hasn’t been that wild, but we’ve had some rainstorms with hail and wind. I thought my hibiscus bush was wiped out, but it’s still green enough to recover. The sky the other night was weirdly beautiful. The clouds were amazing! Some were light blue; some were grey: some were the color of pink cotton candy. And, in between all the clouds was clear blue sky! Even before the clouds showed up, there was lots and lots of thunder just going on and on. I’m not sure who appreciates the rain more…me or my plants! I only have to water the plants on the covered porches. I love not having to drag out the hoses. But, all this rain means our grass grew like crazy. The mowers were here today, but I’m going to mow again tomorrow. It’s one way to get some steps in, right?

I’m so glad your wild weather wasn’t too wild. It’s been crazy!
It was so weird because on one side of the house, the sky was so dark. On the other side, it was all those differently colored clouds. But, the thunder was really weird.

We have had unusual weather this week, Marsha, will hail and rain and thunderstorms. It’s strange but the green loves all the rain and today is beautiful. Thanks so much for the feature this week. It is always such a pleasure to post on your blog. Have a lovely week.

We’ve had some weird looking skies and funny sounding storms this spring too; but I am loving that I really only have to water the plants on the front porch since all the others seem to be getting plenty of rain.
Yeah, the sounds of the storms has been the weirdest! I do love a thunderstorm, but I get a little worried if the sky is too weird a color. Hurray for only watering plants on porches, right?
