Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #63!

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been? Our weather has been wet and humid. That means the grass grows fast! It also means I don’t have to water lots of my plants. I did rescue a couple more today…a lavender tree and a hollyhock plant. One of our neighbors has several beautiful hollyhocks in their landscaping. I used to plant them from seeds so I was thrilled to pick up one already grown. And, of course, both plants were on clearance! I just wish they’d get some pink yarrow in! They have plenty of yellow, but I like the lavender and pink varieties.

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

  5. Thanks so much for featuring my new grand baby post! I so appreciate it. I just purchased three new Hollyhock plants myself as mine didn’t reseed from last year.

    • You are so welcome! He is a cutie! I haven’t planted hollyhocks in years, but I never had any reseed.

      Thanks, Amy!

  6. I’ve never grown hollyhocks but I think they are so pretty. We actually bought one this week for my mother-in-law’s birthday this week! Thanks for hosting us, and thanks for sharing my book recommendation post from last week.

    • I’m so glad you linked up, Lisa! My grandma always grew hollyhocks from seeds, but I read they’re a biannual so we’ll see if these come up next year. Just in case, I’ll save some seeds for next year.

      Thanks, Lisa!

  11. Happy Monday! Thanks for hosting the link party. I didn’t realize yarrow came in amyother color but yellow It is what we have.

    • You are so welcome, Linda! I’ve had white (that I found alongside the road up north), pink, and lavender. But, all I can seem to find in the stores is yellow. My neighbor does have some that I like so I may ask for some should he decide to clear it out.
