Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #68!

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been going? Mine has been jam packed full! One day, I took my youngest granddaughter shopping. She is my last teenager (how do I have only teenagers for grands now), and we had lots of fun. She’s not necessarily a shopper, or maybe I just don’t know what she really likes. Once I got her talking, we had lots to talk about. Then, I had two blog posts to write and had put them both off until it was almost go time! Today, I met my two dearest friends for a good gab, lunch, and even more talking. We all three decided next summer would be the summer we go for a girls’ trip. I hope we follow through on that. The weather today was glorious so it was almost too bad we spent it inside.

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

    • You’re welcome, Amy! She lives about 30 miles from us, but construction is crazy now so it takes about 45 minutes if I’m lucky.

    • Thanks, Joanne! I was really inspired after reading your post about meeting up with fellow bloggers. I keep thinking I should do that…try to get sort of local to me bloggers together.

  10. I really like Jon Pavlovitch. I didn’t know he had a book. Will check out.

    • It’s funny because most of what I know about him are the memes I see on Facebook.

      Thanks, Lydia!

  12. Better start planning that girls trip now!

    • I know…we have been saying this for years. We did manage a weekend before Covid and had a blast. But, they are so busy during the summer living “normal” lives. And, one of them is a new grandma with another grand coming in September. So, I will actually be surprised if we make it!

      Thanks, Michelle!
