Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #69!

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been? This has been one of those weeks when it seems like I accomplished exactly nothing. I have been keeping my plants alive outside…barely. We did get some rain on Tuesday, but that doesn’t water the plants on the back porch. We have a robin nesting in one of the plants on the baker’s rack so I’m always careful watering the plants there. I have stepped outside to try to get a glimpse of the Perseid showers (I think those are the ones), but we have too much light pollution here.

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

  3. Another good round up, Marsha. I hope you have a lovely weekend. Not long until your adventure begins. x

  4. Oh my goodness!!! I can’t believe that! I am so happy that people were interested in my little posts! I can’t wait to see what everyone is posting about this week.

  5. Thanks so much for the feature Marsha! I so appreciate it!

  6. We had 5 inches of rain last week and are already up to 2 this week – after a few of weeks of little to no rain. Some plants aren’t looking happy. Thanks for hosting!

    • Wow! That’s a lot of rain! And, if it comes down too fast, it really doesn’t help that much anyway. So far, just that large pot of coleus have suffered. And, that was because of the lack of drainage.

      Thanks, Michelle!

  7. Thank you so much for featuring my jam! You just reminded me that I should go around and check on my plants. We had a few rain storms this week so I’ve pretty much forgotten to go around and see how my potted plants are doing!

    • You’re welcome, Joanne! I have to admit my mouth may have been watering looking at that jam! We haven’t had too many storms but enough to keep everything watered except for what’s under roof.

  8. I know how you feel, Marsha… there are days/weeks when I wonder what I’ve accomplished – especially since retiring! It’s also a joy! Thanks for hosting us all once again! We’re sharing #32 and #33 this week!

    • Thanks, Laura! I know retirement is for relaxing, but I feel like I do a little too much of that. And, thanks again for linking up with us!

  9. Oh goodness… I forgot to say THANK YOU for featuring our “At the Car Wash” post! So appreciated! Have a wonderful weekend!

  10. All we’ve had is rain! We actually ended up with some sunshine (and humidity) for the lavender fields so I was happy about that! This week was all about taking boys to appointments before school starts.

    • We had quite a bit of rain after the hurricane, but it’s been dry for several days now. Can you smell the lavender fields? That would be heavenly!

Thanks, Mireille! And, good luck to your boys this school year!

  11. At #45 I left a recent post but has a special update I think you will enjoy. Thanks for the link-up

    • Oh, that is so nice that he married again. Indie has grown up so much, too! Thanks for sharing this, Aletha!

  12. Thank you so much for the compliment and feature, Marsha. You are so generous and it is much appreciated.
