Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #7!6

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been? Our weather has been absolutely glorious! We have had warm days with nice cool nights…the best kinds of days. I haven’t really accomplished much this week. It seems one week just flows into another these days. Jack did go to the groomer yesterday as did Nigel. I got a pedicure. So, we’re all prettied up with nowhere to go. By the way, Nigel didn’t go to the same groomer…hahaha!!

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

  1. Seems that the hole family is ready for the weekend, lol. Have a great one.

    • Oh, Nancy…we are sooo ready for something, but every day is the weekend for us! Jack definitely looks a lot better!

Thanks and I hope your week ahead is a fantastic one!

  2. Happy October, Marsha! Our Minnesota days and nights have been glorious, too! The typical fall colors haven’t arrived quite yet but I sure hope we get some consistent autumn temps before the winter weather arrives! As always, thanks to you and your cohosts for everything you do to provide this space for us each week!

    • Happy October to you, Laura! You are certainly welcome for the link up. I’m glad you’re here. I am hoping for some colorful trees here in Central Indiana, but I am afraid it’s been so dry the trees will drop their leaves without changing colors. Many trees already have bare branches. I hope you have a wonderful week!

  3. Marsha,

  4. It’s great to hear you’re enjoying such lovely weather! It sounds like a wonderful week, even if it feels like time is flying by. I love that you and the pets all got pampered—everyone deserves a little self-care! I’m excited to see how the Weekend Traffic Jam grows. Thanks for encouraging us to link up our favorite posts; it’s a fantastic way to discover new blogs and connect with fellow bloggers.

I just posted new post, I invite you to read https://www.melodyjacob.com/2024/10/mushroom-coffee-health-benefits-ingredients-guide.html

    • Thank you so much, Melody…I just popped over to your site and read about the Hunterian Art Museum. What an amazing place! I’m so glad you link up with us! BTW…you look positively stunning in all your photos!

  5. Thanks so much for hosting!

  6. Always a pleasure to visit your site, Marsha. Great to know you’re having excellent weather and taking a little time for yourself. Recovery efforts are on-going in our area but things are slowly getting back to normal. Thanks so much for the features this week. I know how much effort goes into hosting and you are much appreciated. Have a great week.

    • You are so welcome for the features, Lynne. I hope recovery goes faster than expected, but judging from the photos of the Asheville area, it will be a while. My heart breaks for the Arts district. We were just there a year or so ago.

  7. Two overnight trips made the fall break more fun: now I am counting down the 7 weeks till our week at the beach.

    • Oh, a week at the beach sounds wonderful right now. I know I just back from a vacation, but I am ready for another one.

  8. Hi, Marsha – Since I live in the Midwest like you, we’ve also been enjoying the most beautiful weather. I’m loving it — no matter that it’s not the cool, crisp autumn in full color as usual. It’s nice to still go outside in sandals without coverups and enjoy the sun…windows open, too! I will try to join your link up on Thursdays; I just have to remember to catch you at the right time. Thanks for having it – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    • Thanks, Angie! You’re close to Detroit, right? I’m wondering if it’s been too dry for the trees to turn colors much. We have lots of trees around that have lost lots of leaves without turning color. But, I sure do love this weather. This is a bad time for my allergies (harvesting corn and soybeans) so we leave the windows up. But, the AC hasn’t run for days. Gotta love that! The link up lasts for an entire week! I know people get busy, though! I’m just glad you link up when you can!

  9. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

    • You are so welcome, Patrick! I always look visiting your blog. I wish I could figure out how to subscribe!
