Week #77!
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
How has your week been? Mine has been OK. I have been watching the hurricane coverage and am just heartbroken for all of those in the path of both Helene and Milton. I cannot believe the devastation. But, I am so encouraged by all the people stepping up to provide supplies for all of those effected by this. It’s so good to see the people of our country pulling together even if the politicians can’t seem to do the same thing.
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam
Featured favorites from last week…
And, now, it’s your turn!
Please link up your favorite posts, DIY, baking, gardening, fashion…you name it…as long as it’s family friendly! Don’t forget some of your older posts might be just right for this time of year! Link up with me, visit a couple of others, and leave a comment or two! No worries if you don’t have a blog, just look around! You may find a new blog just waiting for you!
Thanks for hosting Marsha!

You are welcome, Kellyann! I’m glad you joined us!
Those in the southeast have been on my heart, too, this past week! I can’t imagine how devastating this hurricane season has been for the area! We’re sharing #26 and #27 this week. As always, thanks for hosting us all, Marsha! Wishing you a great weekend ahead!
Thanks for joining us, Laura! It has been heartbreaking to see the pictures, videos, and interviews of the people from these two storms. I honestly cannot imagine what they are going through.
It’s been a beautiful week here and fall is definitely in the air. I was so glad to see that all of my blogger friends escaped the storm with minimal damage.

We are going to be getting close to freezing this week! I have to decide which flowers I want to baby along a little more and which I’m just done with. It’s so sad to see the people who didn’t escape the storms.
There is so much devestation from the two recent hurricanes. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Thank you so much for the feature! You made my day!
Jill – Doused in Pink
You are very welcome, Jill! I cannot imagine the heartbreak and financial hardships these people are facing. We were in Asheville last year or the year before and walking right through the Arts District. I hope rebuilding goes faster than everyone says it will take.
We had flooding in Europe this summer and fall, some of it in my area and it’s so scary to see nature’s powers so close. I’m feeling for everyone who has to suffer from catastrophes like these even if it’s good to see how many helpers there are.

It is amazing to see exactly the kind of power nature, especially water, has. I hope you and yours are all OK. It is definitely a good thing to see people working together to fix things.
Thanks, Cat!
Thanks, Marsha, for all the work you do on the link party. I meet people from North Carolina in the grocery stores in our area. They have to come south to shop as they have nowhere to go near their homes in North Carolina. Many are still without power or water. My heart goes out to all the victims of this storm..
thanks so much for the features. It’s always such a pleasure to share on your site. Have a lovely week.
Lynne
Oh, Lynne, that just breaks my heart. One of my former students is a lineman and is down there helping to get things up and running. I know he does that frequently. It was awful to see what happened in Asheville…one of my favorite cities.
You are welcome, and I’m so glad you link up with us!
Oh, my gravy. That table setting is so simply perfect. Love the use of the leaves under the plates. Going to copy that.
And Jill’s blouse caught my eye on IG. Such a pretty color and great fit. She will get oodlesof wear out of that piece year-round. Going to join your link up because somehow I am semi-on-top-of my blogging game for today. Would like to get back to joining you for 10 on the 10th but not sure I am that on top of things!! One day I seem to have life together and the next day I seem to be a basket case. Ha!! Love you!!
Yay!!! I’m so glad you’re linking up, Leslie! Lynne does the most fantastic things with china, linens, and florals. I really thought the leaves were pretty cool myself!
Love you, too, my friend!
Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
You are welcome, Patrick! May your week be a time of joy and wonder!
Looks like we picked some similar highlights and you picked some I thought of picking too. Hope you are having a good week!
It’s funny how we all seem to do that!
