Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #79!

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been? This has been one of those weeks for me! I couldn’t even get onto WordPress yesterday to do my regular Thursday post. I was surprised I was able to get in today! I’m hoping it will stay up long enough for me to finish up my monthly Final Friday post, but we shall see! The weather has continued to be exactly what you’d want for a beautiful fall day. But, we could definitely use some rain. My youngest son came and claimed two of my Boston ferns, and I’ve emptied a number of the pots on the back porch. That means it’s beginning to look rather bare and unhappy. I will soon be putting everything away and preparing it for winter.

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

  1. Hi, Marsha – We have been blessed with really nice weather, thus far escaping the horrible storms that others in the nation are suffering. I should be getting outdoors to enjoy it more, but I have been busy keeping up with personal business, phone calls and housecleaning…not to mention decluttering! Meanwhile, my calendar keeps getting more added onto it. Oh, no, wait until holiday prep! And life goes on…Anyway, thanks for providing a link up and have a good week – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    • I hear you, Angie! I decided I need to make a list of everything I need to get done and put it in some kind of priority order. If I don’t do that, it’s just not going to get done! It’s good to be busy, but, sometimes, it’s better to just sit and be calm, right?

You are very welcome for the link up!

  2. Our weather has been crazy warm this week (with very cold mornings!) so while it’s been hard to plan outfits/get dressed, I’ve also been loving it. I wish we had waited another week or two before packing away all our patio furniture as I would have enjoyed sitting out a few afternoons this week!

  3. It has been dry here for so long too and we were finally blessed with rain last night. Thanks for the party!

  4. Thank you for the shout out. You might have better luck with yours than I did. We did the Viennese Swirls this week and they are so yummy! Not simple, but not impossible either. I’m sure some bakers are more skilled than I am with the piping bag, but these challenges are good practice for me. Have a nice weekend!

  5. The rain arrived last night, including a fall thunderstorm. It was delightful and needed! Of course, lots of the leaves are now gone, too! Thanks so much to you and your cohosts, Marsha! We love this weekly link up!
