Week #83!
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
How has your week been? Ours has been pretty uneventful except for my blog getting hacked. Nigel continues to improve in his walking and has several exercises to do at home. It snowed today (Thursday), and Jack loves the snow! It’s so hard to bring him in when he’s having so much fun running and jumping through the snow. Yes, we got that much snow!
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam
Featured favorites from last week…
And, now, it’s your turn!
Please link up your favorite posts, DIY, baking, gardening, fashion…you name it…as long as it’s family friendly! Don’t forget some of your older posts might be just right for this time of year! Link up with me, visit a couple of others, and leave a comment or two! No worries if you don’t have a blog, just look around! You may find a new blog just waiting for you!
Great hair colour, and love the white kitchen too! /Madison
FASHION TALES
Thanks, Madison! I so want a white kitchen again!
I envy your snow, Marsha! We don’t get snow here and we do love the cold weather. Currently, days are still warm and sunny but it rained last night. I can’t wait for it to turn chilly! We’ve had a sad week this week because we’ve been helping some friends pack up to move away. And last night we had a final farewell dinner with them. They headed back to the States after a number of years away. But we also had some good news regarding the new house so all is great!
Big hugs
Suzy xx
Oh, Suzy…no snow…and here I was thinking I needed to move to Portugal! Well, if there’s no snow and ungodly heat in the summer, Portugal is not the place for me to live. But, I’d love to visit. Oh, I’m so sad your friends have moved. Maybe, they’re close to me? That would be kinda strange, wouldn’t it? Oh, I’m glad there is good news on the new house. I can’t wait to see it all completed.
Thanks for the link up Marsha!
xo,
Kellyann
You are welcome, Kellyann! I’m glad you joined us!
Thanks for the party!
You are welcome, Amy!

Debbie-Dabble Blog
You are so welcome, Deb! I do hope your decorating is coming along well! I’ll be over to check though I may not always comment!
Thank you for hosting, Marsha! This time I linked up not only to my, but also my cat’s blog 😉
Have a lovely, cold weekend! I don’t mind the cold so much myself, but snow has never been my thing except for looking at it from the inside, lol.
Oh, I can’t wait to see your cat’s blog! I love snow and don’t get to play in it as much as I’d like. My dog adores it and usually has huge snowballs on his legs and chest! He will play for as long as I let him, but I worry about him getting frostbite!
Thanks, Cat!
We got snow this week, too, and I’m not sure how I feel about it’s arrival! So glad you were able to resolve your “hack” – what a nightmare! As always, thanks to you and your cohosts for the party! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Believe it or not, our snow completely melted overnight! I was so surprised to see green again. It was easy to resolve this time. But, I’m going to be checking lots of things on a pretty regular basis for a while!
And, you are welcome, Laura, for the link up! Thanks for joining us!
No snow here but we did finally get some much needed rain!
It’s so crazy. Last night, when I went to bed, we probably had at least 3 inches of snow. This morning, it was all gone! But, it’s still cold and windy!
We got just a small amount of snow here and it’s already gone. It’s so weird that living in Minnesota, we sometimes are too far north to get the snow that the rest of the Midwest gets!
Yeah, we had lots and lots of snow yesterday…probably 3-4 inches. I know Jack’s belly was touching the snow as he jumped around in it. And, then, this morning when I woke up, it was all gone! Crazy, right?
Thanks, Sally! I promise I will get around to your blog…life is just so busy and crazy right now.
Marsha, thanks so much for the feature for Preparing for Christmas but most of all wanted to wish you and your family a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for you and all you do . Sending hugs.
Lynne
You are so very welcome, Lynne! I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too, Lynne!
THa’ts a very fancy kitchen!!
It is, but I love it! I don’t think I would go that white, though. I like the walls to have color.
Thanks, Lydia!
We are definitely hoping for some snow this year! But can’t complain for this one week at the beach: the weather here this week is looking to be perfect!

I was really surprised we got that much because it started out as only supposed to be flurries. Of course, we’ll have green grass when it’s Christmas! Enjoy your week at the beach!
Thanks, Mireille!
Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Thank you so much, Patrick! I hope you and your family have a fabulous Thanksgiving! I’m so glad you link up with us!
We had a little bit of snow last week, then a storm! Sorry to hear about your blog getting hacked – I hope all is ok now.

Thanks, Emma! Yes, so far, it’s all working well. I heard there was a storm…rain and thunder? Or, more snow?
