Week #100!
Woohoo! This marks my 100th Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot post! It’s been a day, my friends. We drove over to our daughter’s house to check on it as they’ve been on vacation. Her home was fine, but there were several homes damaged by the wind. I’m not sure if it’s been declared a tornado or not. There are a few very large farming families here. One of their homes/farm was struck badly. Fully grown trees were uprooted, and a pergola was completely wiped away. I found our griddle just lying in the yard, but I’m not sure we want to use it anymore. Then, I noticed one of our chairs was lying in a neighbor’s yard…two houses away. At this point, I haven’t heard of any deaths which is a miracle. Anyway, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
Wouldn’t you like to know more about your hostesses? We’ve got you covered there! Please feel free to drop by the others to see what their blogs are all about! We are a very diverse group of bloggers. Links to each blog appear below.

Marsha from Marsha in the Middle started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity. Oh, who are we kidding? Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write!
Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household – The name says it all, we homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing this land. I cook and bake from scratch, between gardening and running after the chickens, and knitting!
Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and more.
Sue from Women Living Well After 50 started blogging in 2015 and writes about living an active and healthy lifestyle, fashion, book reviews and her podcast and enjoying life as a woman over 50. She invites you to join her living life in full bloom.
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Kellyann from This Blonde’s Shopping Bag.

Kellyann is one of the sweetest people ever! I was lucky enough to meet up with her when she came to Indianapolis a few years ago. Here’s what she has to say about her blog: “This Blonde’s Shopping Bag is a personal style blog by Kellyann Rohr. I believe every woman, regardless of age, should have the tools and opportunity to feel their best through fashion. A closet full of great basics with some fun pieces mixed in helps you avoid that dreaded feeling of having nothing to wear! It doesn’t have to break the bank either and that’s why I’ll show you how to get the most bang for your buck. Quite simply my mission is to encourage and support women to stay fashionable, fresh, and relevant! Orlando, FL is where I call home and have most of my life! I am married and have 2 adult sons. My background is in psychology and counseling. I’ve been a licensed mental health counselor since 1997 and a certified school counselor since 1999. Currently I work from home as a virtual elementary school counselor. In my spare time I enjoy working out, trying new recipes, reading, spending time with my family, and of course shopping!” You can find her here, and please tell her we sent you!
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

I just loved that cow dress!!!
Wasn’t it the coolest thing ever? I love those slip dresses, but I cannot wear them.
The storm sounds awful Marsha, hoping all is well! Thanks for hosting and congrats on this your 100th post for Traffic Jam Reboot
Thanks, Debbie! I couldn’t believe when I typed 100! My daughter told me the tornado was classified an F2 which makes me wonder how bad an F4 would be. There have been some of those over the years in other states. I’m afraid it will be the norm rather than being unusual.
Oh my goodness Marsha! What a sweet surprise! Thank you so very much for the feature and the kind words. I sure hope we get to see one another in real life again one day!
xo,
Kellyann
You are very welcome, Kellyann! Who knows…Florida isn’t that far away. But, I think I’ll wait until next winter because I just don’t do heat!
I’m so glad that you and your family and your homes made it through the storms safely… they seemed so powerful and there have been so many already this spring! Congrats on link up #100! We appreciate all you’ve done and continue to do to provide this space for us all! Have a great weekend, Marsha!
Thank you, Laura! I can’t believe it’s been 100 weeks already! These storms were extremely powerful though I guess they were only F2s. I cannot imagine what an F4 would be like. When I was out and about today, I saw even more damage in other places. It’s going to be a long haul for some of these businesses. I hope they make it through this disaster.
Congratulations on 100, Marsha and so glad no one was harmed during the storm. The weather is very unpredictable with more intense storms in my area as well. Hope this week is much calmer for everyone.
Lynne, Thrifting Wonderland
Thank you, Lynne! It surely doesn’t feel that long. I hope you stay safe. These storms are powerful. I think we have several days of them coming up here. Thank you for linking up with us each week, too!
Marsha,
So happy to hear that your daughter’s home did not sustain any damage….The storms have been pretty wicked lately…
My Link Ups for today’s party are # 34, 35 and 36!!!!
Thanks so much for hosting this charming party!!! I truly do appreciate it as I do know the time involved with it….I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your week!
Hugs,
Deb
Debbie-Dabble Blog
Thanks, Deb! It was so weird to see nothing damaged and just a street or two over, devastation! Thanks for linking up with us each week! We appreciate you!
I’m so glad no one was hurt. Thanks for the party. I’m #’s43 and 44
I was, too, Amy! And, you are very welcome!
Thank you, I’m thrilled that my post on medical insurance was a favorite last week. I hope it was helpful to you. This week’s share at #48 shares a news update about our federal health agencies which also directly affects the care we get.
You are so welcome, Aletha! I’m just so glad for your posts explaining these things in terms I can understand. I think your posts are very important.
I just noticed a dead tree fell recently in the woods part of our property, thankfully not towards the neighbor’s fence. I am glad you are safe. I never know whether to let my kids sleep or not when they have tornado watches, I usually wait till they have a warning to do something.

Thanks, Mireille! It was a scary night. I always waited for a warning, too.
Thank you so much for the feature! Congrats on your 100th TJ post!
