Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #105

Monday night, I had so much fun! My travel buddy and I had seen these really fun rock art pictures in Ireland. My travel buddy is an artist…she’ll deny it, but she is. She was in charge of doing some kind of “Ladies Night Out” program for the women of our church. She pulled together all kinds of art supplies and rocks, and we all created rock art! I had so much fun, but I forgot to snap a photo of mine. Let’s just say it wouldn’t have ranked in the top 20 (there were maybe 22 people there)! Anyway, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

Wouldn’t you like to know more about your hostesses? We’ve got you covered there! Please feel free to drop by the others to see what their blogs are all about! We are a very diverse group of bloggers. Links to each blog appear below.

Marsha from Marsha in the Middle started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity.  Oh, who are we kidding?  Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write!

Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household  – The name says it all, we homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing this land. I cook and bake from scratch, between gardening and running after the chickens, and knitting!

Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and more.

Sue from Women Living Well After 50 started blogging in 2015 and writes about living an active and healthy lifestyle, fashion, book reviews and her podcast and enjoying life as a woman over 50.  She invites you to join her living life in full bloom.

As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Dr. Aletha from watercress words.

Dr. Aletha says, “I partner with my readers and clients to turn life and health challenges into opportunities for learning and growth.” You can find her here, and please tell her we sent you!

Featured favorites from last week…

I love lemons and blueberries!
Isn’t this just the best backdrop?
Lots of good tips here!
I think even I could do this!

    • You are welcome, Mireille! I just love that photo! The rock art was really a lot of fun. I honestly hope we do it again. I’ll try to post a photo of mine for my end of the month recap.

  5. Thank you for featuring me and my blog this week. I am honored to be selected among the awesome bloggers featured here each week. Knowing how much work blogging is, I appreciate the time, effort, and HEART you give to your readers. We all should be lifelong learners and you are contributing valuable knowledge and experience. Thanks again.

    • You are welcome, Dr. Aletha! I’m glad you are a part of my blogging reading list. I learn so much from you. I’m also glad to have you link up with us and share your information with everyone else!

  6. Thank you so much for the feature this week. Much appreciated xxx

  7. Rock art sounds like fun! I have a hard time painting in miniature though. You have some really great features this week; that blueberry cake looked so yummy and I love that sunflower photo– she could not have found a more perfect background to go with her jacket.

    • Thanks, Joanne! I loved that shot of Mireille and the sunflower! Mike doesn’t really like blueberries that much so I don’t know if I’ll get around to making that. I could make it and freeze it in small portions, I think. Most of us didn’t really paint our rocks as much as paint the background. I will have to post a photo of mine…sad thing that it is!

  8. My painted rock would be competing with you for the bottom of the rankings, Marsha, but I think it still sounds like fabulous fun. 🙂

    • Hahaha!!! I dunno, Sally…mine is really bad! I’ll have to include it in my Final Fridays this month (if I get around to doing one). It really was so much fun, especially after everyone was done and going around admiring the work!

  9. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
