Week 141!
Y’all know I love snow, right? But, cold weather, as in low temperatures, are not my favorite. It’s been a bit warmer so some of the snow has melted. The problem is it then freezes overnight, and we have icy patches. At least, Jack isn’t suffering as much. Today, I had both a Gallery Conversation and a tour. Have I mentioned I love being a docent? I have…hmmm….well, it is definitely the way I’m meeting socialization goals. It’s so interesting to see a piece of art through others’ eyes. You can look at a piece of art a dozen times, and then someone sees something completely new to you. If you’re ever in Indianapolis, let me know! We can go to the museum, and I’ll give you a deluxe tour. Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I’m not sure about times right now, but I will still be aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Laura-Kim from Wisdom and Wrinkles.

Laura-Kim says, “I’m Laura , a 46-year-old recovering helicopter mom learning to fly solo as my nest gradually empties.
After 18 years of blogging about the chaos of raising four kids, I’m now navigating the unexpected adventures of midlife with hot flashes, reading glasses, and a whole new perspective.
These days, you’ll find me working from home alongside my husband (yes, we’re still talking!), managing a household that’s somehow both quieter and louder with just two kids still under our roof. I’m documenting this grand adventure of reinvention – from surviving menopause with my sense of humor intact to redefining my role as mom to young adults, while discovering who I am beyond the chaos of kids in school.
Join me as I share the laughs, tears, and unexpected wisdom that come with embracing this next chapter. Because while my wrinkles might be multiplying, so are the reasons to smile.” Please do visit her blog here, and please tell her we sent you!

I think it IS interesting seeing art thru others eyes. I had this recently when a male friend commented on a statue I’d posted and seen something quite different to what I saw – I love this about art.
