Week 165!
Anyone else tired of talking about the weather? I surely am, but it’s the biggest thing on most everyone’s mind…other than the World Cup. I used to love to play soccer, but I admit I haven’t watched a single game. I think it Spain against Argentina. Do you have a favorite in this match up? Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I am always aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Missy from Sonata Home Design.

Missy says, “Hi, I’m Missy, and I believe decorating a home isn’t about following trends…it’s about composition and courage! Courage to embrace yourself! After more than 35 years as a music teacher, I now teach a symphonic approach to home design. I help you compose rooms filled with color, harmony, and joy using the very same principles I spent decades teaching in the choir room. That’s the heart of Sonata Home Design. In music, a sonata is built with intention. There’s structure, contrast, emotion, and flow. Homes work the same way.” Please visit Missy here, and please tell her we sent you!

Thank you so much for the feature! I’m sharing two more Greece posts today.
You are welcome, Joanne! I hope people read more than just that post because they are all so fascinating!
Norway should be in the final, not Argentina. Shame on Argentina for soiling the games with their dumb Falkland islands banner. Hope Spain will send the little troll Messi packing back home.
Thank you, Nicotiana! As I said, I haven’t watched any of the games so I don’t know about a banner or this Messi person (is that his name or a nickname).
Thanks so much for the party, my friend. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You’re welcome, my friend! I hope your weekend is a wonderful one, too!
Thanks for hosting the party! Enjoy your weekend.
You’re very welcome, Nancy!
Thanks so much for the party, Marsha! We always enjoy stopping by WTJR each Friday and we appreciate all you and your cohosts do to create this space for us to visit! You’re right – the weather and the World Cup are the two hot topics lately! One will end soon (we’ll be watching this weekend) and hopefully the other (the fires/smoke and flooding) will end soon, as well! Happy weekend ahead!
You’re welcome, Laura! I really do hope both end soon. It was hazy here this morning, but I think that was due more to humidity than the wildfires. We did have that last summer, and I hope we don’t have it this summer. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!
Marsha,
We went from heat and humidity to Smoke from the wild fires in Canada!!
My Entries for today’s party are # 34, 35 and 36!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well…
Hugs,

Oh, Deb! My heart breaks for everyone involved. I’ve heard so many news stories about how bad it is, wearing masks, and not being able to see buildings. And, then the people near the fires…it’s just so sad and terrible. But, thanks for linking up with us!
After a week of trying to avoid the smoke (from Minnesota & Canada wildfires), I was thrilled to see that you featured my FunPhoto post! Thank you so much. (I placed the featured button on my sidebar, as well as at the bottom of the featured post).
Have a wonderful day!
Angie
PS – my linkups this week are: 57, 58, 59 & 60
You are so welcome, Angie! We are getting it in Central Indiana but nothing like you’re getting. My air purifiers are working constantly so I know something is up. I’m so glad you were excited to see your post featured! Let’s hope things improve for everyone this week.
