Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week 137!

I don’t know where you are, but here in Central Indiana, it feels like late March or early April. It’s windy, rainy, and freakishly warm. I have a feeling some of my bulbs will pop up if it continues. Yesterday, I went to Dayton, Ohio to the Dayton Art Institute to see an Art Nouveau exhibit. There were so many pieces from Louis Comfort Tiffany…just gorgeous! Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I’m not sure about times right now, but I will still be aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?

As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Melody from Melody Jacob.

Melody says, “My name is Melody Jacob, and I am a travel and lifestyle blogger in Scotland, United Kingdom. If you are reading this, it means you want to know more about me, and I truly appreciate that. I take trips at least one to two times every week to nature reserves, castles, hiking spots, tourist attractions, and other places that catch my interest.

I love being in nature because it is the balm of the soul. I also love looking good, which is why I share my style preferences on the blog. I share tips on mental wellness too, and I am discovering more practical approaches as I travel and explore every day.

Another part of this blog you might enjoy is the inspirations section, where I write about real-life situations I have faced, as well as challenges others have faced. It is always refreshing to learn and share experiences. This blog also publishes reviews of items I have personally used. Every post is handwritten and plagiarism-free because I only share authentic content.

I am redefining travel in my own way. I love travel gear and wear it often, but nothing stops me from looking like a beautiful fairy in the wild, standing on top of mountains in a lovely dress during a day trip. I enjoy looking good, so I review lots of outfits and also publish business-related posts. You will also find book reviews, skincare products I have tried, and more.

I love connecting with my audience. It makes me happy, and I enjoy reading their comments. I know I am beautiful, but I am also striving not just for outward beauty but to be beautiful at heart. One of the best parts of my day is exploring nature, being in the calm of the wild, and then sharing my experiences and photos on my blog—it makes me so happy. Traveling to these places fills me with joy and refuels my drive. My hope is to inspire you to travel, explore style, and experience life in the best way.

I have collaborated with many brands. If you click on the review page, you can see them. I am always open to new collaboration opportunities. My journey as a God-made woman is built on a strong foundation in Christ, who continues to guide me on a solid path. I also share personal insights, making my blog a relatable space where readers feel like they’re on this journey with me. You can also find my content on Instagram.

I write in an engaging way, and I am creative with my blog. I love writing, wearing beautiful dresses, and exploring new places. Follow this blog, add it to your favorites, and join my Google followers. I am proud of the traffic I have gathered over the years, the organic visitors, and the trending posts that show what my readers enjoy most.

I have come to understand that there is power in being authentic because it goes a long way. I learned that you can lose things at any point in life, so you must be careful what you hold on to. I used to live in Ukraine, but I left because of the war. I left all my things behind and moved with just a little bag. I am grateful for that experience because it taught me never to hold on too tightly, to cherish the moment, and to let go of what no longer serves me.

Sometimes I become uptight talking about myself, maybe because I haven’t figured everything out, but I am getting better. For example, now I celebrate my birthday—I didn’t used to before. I believe I will be raptured alive, and I believe my parents will live to 120 years.

I don’t like rain, but I love the sunshine and night fire sit-outs; they bring out the very best in me. I hope that as you read my blog, you will get to know me better. If you want to send me an email, kindly use the contact page.

How I see life: In life, you must have a stance. In every stage of life we go through, we lose and gain something. It all depends; in some stages we lose more, while in others we gain more. But the trick about life is that you need to know when the time to move to the next stage is due. Never let your emotions make you lose everything at a particular stage. Remember, you need some things for the next stage; know when to retreat, surrender, and fight. Life is in stages, and this applies to every aspect of life.” You can find her here, and please tell her we sent you!

  1. Not supercold here at the moment, but around the freezing point with strong winds and some rain, and I’m already dreading to go outside this morning because there could be ice and I’m great at slipping!

  2. We’ve only had 2 or 3 days of warm weather this week and I am loving it! We’ve been on 2 hikes in the snow in the new year and I’ve only needed a coat and gloves. But our nights are still cold and we’ve had a few mornings in a row with lots of black ice all over the roads so it’s not THAT warm.

  3. Marsha,
    My Entries for today’s party are # 19, 20 and 21!!

  4. I love seeing Melody’s pictures on IG: Scotland is such a beautiful place! Here the birds think it is spring: I am on my porch in springlike clothes and the birds are chirping away.
