Week 170!
I know I told you last week there had been lots of rain in Central Indiana. Well, we got even more Friday, and many communities were flooded. Our yard is still squishy in some spots. The mowers finally came, but our yard looks terrible. I don’t really blame them because they have other neighborhoods to mow. But, there are wide swathes of our yard that were missed. I’m going to mow some time this weekend. I have also been practicing my Colleague Feedback tour in my head. I don’t know why I’m so nervous, but I am. I have just a little over a week. Anyway, it’s time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! I am always aiming for 9:30 pm EDT. So, on with the show, right?
As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Amy at Coffee and Cocktails at the Casa (she’s my co-host for Fashion Files).

Try as I might, I couldn’t find anything on Amy’s blog about her so I will tell you what I know. Amy is a recently retired high school Spanish teacher in Kentucky. She has twin sons who graduated from college the same year (I think) she retired. She has a handsome chocolate lab named Eddie Otis and a husband who is Eddie Otis’s favorite person (Amy’s, too, I think). She loves to walk, read outside, and adores coffee! I hope she reads this and tells us more! You can find here blog here, and please tell her we sent you!

Hi, Marsha – I’m so sorry that you have to deal with the sloppy weather and mowing service. I believe you will do great on your Colleague Feedback Tour. Wishing you the best of luck with everything! – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com
A lot of rain for you and none for me … if we could just distribute it evenly!
I have no doubt you are going to rock your tour, but I totally get being nervous about it.
You did pretty great with Amy’s quick Bio.. however her boys did graduate at least a year before she retired as I know one was working as a substitute at her school with her when I went to meet her in person last spring.
