Week #26
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam with Emma, and me. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:00pm EDT and 2:00am (Friday) in the UK. We are still looking for another blogger to join us each week as co-host. Send either one of us an email or comment below. We’d love to have you join us.
It’s been a rather quiet week here. I’ve been working on my scrapghan, but I haven’t made much of a dent in my stash of yarn. And, we started watching “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Why has no one told me about this show? It’s so good! The weather looks to be changing, and I’m ready for it. I usually decorate in September for fall, but I decided to wait until closer to October. I don’t really do much for Halloween other than putting out a few little ghosts I’ve collected along the way. Then, it’s the same until Christmas. And, that’s just too long! So, how has your week been?
Please link up your favorite posts below. They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! And, please visit a few of the posts linked! And, make sure you visit Emma! She has the most fantastical wardrobe…it’s colorful and fabulous! Please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

I really liked Mrs Maisel but got stuck in the 3rd season…need to get back to it.
We are in the second season now. We like to binge watch series because it’s always so difficult to recall what happened the last year. But, this show is so good!
Thanks, Lydia!
Mrs Maisel is just so good – says a Brit! It’s so bright and beautiful. Now it does go slightly off in the 2nd series but stick with it, I was bereft after it finished. It’s a triumph and the clothes…….!
Thanks so much for hosting this lovely link 🙂
We are in the second series/season now. Oh, the clothes are amazing, aren’t they? My goodness, though, the actresses are so slender. I wonder if they’re wearing girdles and corsets like their real counterparts would have.
You are so welcome, Penny!
This is nice, have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks, Melody! Have a fabulous week!
We go all out with Halloween decorations and this year we actually planned a decorating party on September 16! I know it’s way early for Halloween decor but it takes a lot of effort to turn our home into the spookiest place on the neighborhood so I want to be able to have it up for 6 weeks before tearing it all down. November 1 I want it all out of there! Then Christmas decor goes up for Thanksgiving weekend and gets torn down on January 2! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friend! Thanks for the link party.
Shelbee
Oh, you do have a fun and spooky home. I’ve noticed many of our neighbors (who are even older than me) decorating their porches with pumpkins and scarecrows. Not too much really scary stuff here, though. Last year, I actually left Christmas up until after Epiphany. I’m usually so over the decorations, but I wasn’t looking forward to the putting things in the attic or the crawl space. I miss my basement!!
Thanks, Shelbee, for coming by!
Thanks for the party!
You are welcome, Amy!
It’s actually still cool and present on my porch as I am writing this at 11 am! Loving the feel of fall! It’s been a nice short week this week with some fun playing board games with the boys after school, homework and activities.
