Week #50!
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
How has your week been? Our weather has certainly been a rollercoaster of a ride! We almost hit 80 (26.7C) the other day. Then, on Tuesday, we had thunderstorms. I love a good thunderstorm, but this one was just kind of meh. My hyacinths are coming on gang busters, but it looks like only two daffodils made it through the winter. I’m scared to look at my roses. These are David Austin heirloom roses so they look and smell like the roses I remember from when I was a kid. My friend and I are closing in on plans for our trip to Scotland and Ireland. Eeek! I must admit to very mixed emotions. I have never traveled without Nigel, and I think it’s going to be very strange. I had thought to extend my trip and go down to London for a couple of days. But, I’m already looking at about 18 days so I think I will save that for later this year. It is so strange to be thinking about international travel again.
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!
Featured favorites from last week…

Link up with me, visit a couple of others, and leave a comment or two! No worries if you don’t have a blog, just look around! You may find a new blog just waiting for you!
I love the picture you chose. Thank you (and the kind ‘must read’). Perfect timing for IWD. Many thanks for the pat on the back in encouragement! And hosting! On a different note, it’s a worry that no matter where we are on the planet, we are all complaing of strange weather!!
You are so welcome, Lydia! I loved your response to my comment on your blog. I think women’s health has always been on the back burner. Part of it is we’ve been conditioned to not talk about “feminine problems.”
I agree…I am so worried about what’s going on with our planet. These strange heat waves, snow storms, and other kinds of storms are not right at all. I’m hoping against hope it’s just something weird that occurs every 100 years or so. Crud…that also sounds like a certain virus, doesn’t it?
Thanks for hosting! I hope you will stop by my Fancy Friday linkup party!
You are welcome, Nancy! I always stop by, but I’m usually late!!
Crazy weather here too: rain, no rain, cold morning, warm morning, hot afternoon, windy afternoon! Kind of a pain if you ask me, lol!

It is a pain. It was cooler, windy and rainy here today and is supposed to be that way all weekend. But, our grass is green!
Thanks, Mireille!
Your trips sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!
Thanks, Joanne! I hope it is. I’ve never been to either country!
Dear Marsha
Thank you for your support and for featuring Baked Greek Meatballs Stuffed with Feta Cheese.

You are very welcome, Esme! I am going to make these because I love feta cheese! Thank you for hosting the SSPS!
Hope you have a lovely trip, Marsha. Ireland is one of my favorite countries to visit. The people are lovely and so welcoming and I’m a big fan of ancient history and there is so much of the in Ireland. If you have a chance go to Fourknocks Passage Tomb. It will be an amazing experience. Thanks so much for the feature for “Tea and Flowers”. Nothing better than a cup of tea and some quiet time. Tea in England and Ireland is wonderful.
Lynne
Thanks, Lynne! I’m not sure where we are going. My friend is of Irish descent and has a list of places to see. I’m just happy to be traveling. I’m so glad you link up with us every week. Your posts are so beautiful!
