Week #59!
Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.
How has your week been? We have had beautiful weather here in Central Indiana. My rose bushes are covered with buds and a few open flowers. But, the leaves are all lace! Something has been gnawing on them. I hope to have that problem under control. I’ve bought lots and lots of plants for my containers. I’ve also gotten more perennials planted…gotta love the clearance corner at Lowes!
The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

And, now, it’s your turn!
Please link up your favorite posts, DIY, baking, gardening, fashion…you name it…as long as it’s family friendly! Don’t forget some of your older posts might be just right for this time of year! Link up with me, visit a couple of others, and leave a comment or two! No worries if you don’t have a blog, just look around! You may find a new blog just waiting for you!
Hi Marsha, I’ve linked up thank you. I will also link up to 10 on the 10th I just published a bit earlier as it is the 10th here in Australia already. Timezones! xx
Oh, I’m glad you did, Sue! Time zones in the US confuse me so trying to figure out Australia time is almost impossible. Thank goodness for Alexa!
That Paris photo is GORGEOUS!
Isn’t it beautiful? I hope to see it in person some day!
Thanks, Lydia!
I somehow missed that Paris post; off to check that one out right now! Thanks for hosting.
Oh, that one was so good! And, I seriously long to see the Eiffel Tower…doesn’t matter if it’s day or night!
You’re very welcome, Joanne!
The weather has finally changed here in Portugal too, it’s gloriously warm now! Give it a few weeks and I’ll be complaining it’s too hot lol!!
Big hugs
Suzy xx
Hahaha!!! I will ALWAYS complain when it’s hot. I like warm weather mixed with cool weather! I hope that means your build is going well!
Thanks, Suzy!
I’m exactly the same as you Marsha…warm mixed with cool weather sounds like perfection! I was just talking to our builder who is from Venezuela and he says the weather there is pretty much the same comfortable temperature all year long…not too hot but not cold either. Sounds like we should move there!! LOL!!
Hugs xx
Oh, Venezuela!! I hadn’t considered that. What language do they speak there…as if I know any other languages!
Thanks, Suzy!
Spanish, Marsha!!
xx
Well, I wasn’t sure if they spoke Portuguese. I was thinking of Brazil, I guess!
My daughter lives near you and says the weather has been gorgeous too. Sorry to hear about the bugs. Bugs love rose bushes. Thanks for the party.
You are welcome, Amy! Yes, the weather has been gorgeous lately…almost too warm for me. I hate to use insecticides, but I will probably do it again if they continue to eat the leaves.
We’ve had crazy weather here in Alabama this week with tornadoes and rain. We never know from one week to the next how it will be. I’m sorry that bugs are eating the leaves on your rose bushes! My roses actually look really good right now so I feel fortunate. Thanks for hosting us and for featuring my post on A New You from last week!
I saw the weather y’all have had. We have had tornado watches, but, thankfully, no tornadoes have occurred around here. Yeah, the leaves are just lace…I’ve looked all around the leaves to see if I can find any mites or such…nothing! Other than the poor lacy leaves, the roses are going gangbusters! And you are very welcome, Lisa! I’m so glad you link up with us!
