Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #92!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. We had one day in the 60s (18.3C), and I thought spring might be heading our way. The next day, we dropped 30 degrees! That’s weather in Indiana. It’s been grey and dreary with misty nights. But, I’m one of those strange people who happens to like grey and dreary days, especially when it’s too cold to actually go outside and do anything. So, welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot! Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

Wouldn’t you like to know more about your hostesses? We’ve got you covered there! Please feel free to drop by the others to see what their blogs are all about! We are a very diverse group of bloggers. Links to each blog appear below.

Marsha from Marsha in the Middle started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity.  Oh, who are we kidding?  Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write!

Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household  – The name says it all, we homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing this land. I cook and bake from scratch, between gardening and running after the chickens, and knitting!

Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and more.

Sue from Women Living Well After 50 started blogging in 2015 and writes about living an active and healthy lifestyle, fashion, book reviews and her podcast and enjoying life as a woman over 50.  She invites you to join her living life in full bloom.

As part of our new year reboot, we are now shining the spotlight on a different blogger each week. We invite you to stop by their blog, take a look around and say hello! This week, we spotlight Jacqui from “Mummbstylish!”

A little about…

Jacqui lives in the UK and says she is a “fashion and lifestyle blogger.  I’ve been married to my soul mate David who I met over 40 years ago at college!  I’m a mum of five children, three girls and two boys have 7 grand-kids who keep me very busy.” I do believe the number of grandchildren has recently changed! You can find more about Jacqui and her blog here. I hope you’ll stop by and tell her we sent you!

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam

  4. Thank you so much for hosting Marsha 😄

  5. Thank you so much for featuring my Yellowstone post! I so appreciate it. It’s cold here in Wisconsin, and we’re expecting a new snow storm tomorrow. Thanks for the party!

    • You are very welcome, Amy! I was a preteen, I think, the last time (well, the only time) I went to Yellowstone. I would love to go again, but I’m not sure that will ever happen. We are just going to have cold weather. I do wish we’d get rain or snow to get those aquifers filled up for this summer.

  6. I would love to learn more about your docent training, Marsha! Please share! Thanks so much for hosting us each week, too! We’re sharing #44 and #45 today. Happy Friday and Happy Weekend ahead!

  7. I love Jacqui and her sense of style. Hope you have a great weekend!

  9. I love how you’re embracing the unpredictable weather in Indiana! The contrast of warm days followed by a sudden drop in temperature definitely sounds like a rollercoaster, but I totally get why you’d enjoy the grey, misty days, especially when it’s cozy indoors.

    • Thanks, Melody! We’ve always had weather like this in Indiana, but the temperatures are more extreme, I think. I do love a cozy, grey day to just stay home and do nothing!
