Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #52!

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household, Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, and Sue, from Women Living Well After 50 and I are the hostesses for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Sue’s post goes live in Australia on Friday at 12:30 pm.

How has your week been? Well, I called it right! We had snow flurries the other day! And, on Monday night, we had a frost warning so I was out busily covering up all my little green starts. It was so windy. I was fighting the wind, the tarps, and the stones I was using to hold everything down!

I joined Ancestry.com because of a post coming out later this week. And, I am well and truly stumped just a few steps in! My great grandmother on my paternal grandmother’s side is nowhere to be found. UPDATE: I think I may have found her, but I’m kinda wondering if she wasn’t born on the wrong side of the blanket. I am here to tell you, though, that website is addictive. Nigel spent hours when he first retired doing his family tree. Would you believe he has Knights of the Templar as ancestors?

The four of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! I’m especially looking at my fashion friends! We are woefully underrepresented in the link up! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! You just might discover a new blog. I know that’s how I’ve discovered so many and found new friends. And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

    • They sure do! When I was just a co-host under the old format, I didn’t have to be the record keeper. I’m always afraid I’m going to forget, but so far, I’ve made it!

    • You’re welcome! I’m over the snow now! I wanted it in December and January. Hopefully, it will just rain so that the ground gets nice and saturated.

  10. Oh wow, Marsha, thanks so much for featuring me and my raggery! That was a super fun surprise! We under a winter storm watch right now and I am not pleased. Although it was fun to watch the kids get all geared up to go play outside. I love that they still get excited for a snowstorm even in spring! I hope you have a wonderfully snow-less weekend!

    Shelbee

    • You are so welcome, Shelbee! I love your raggery for so many reasons! It’s creative, keeps clothing out of landfills, and fills needs for people. We have had cool but sunny days here. I’m so sorry you’re getting snow! I love snow but not in March though we’ve had it in April. I’m glad your kids love to play in it. I would, too!

  11. Thanks so much for hosting each week, Marsha. It’s a lot of work. I always enjoy catching up on your comings and goings. Appreciate the feature for how to shop an Estate Sale. They can be a lot of fun and you can find great items.
