Week 175!
Oh, y’all! My heart is full. I just got home from my oldest granddaughter’s choir concert. It’s so wonderful to see how she’s grown in this. She just sparkles! More good news, too! Nigel began physical therapy at the place he went with the first two replacements. They are much better equipped to strengthen his muscles, and he’s working with a therapist he already knew. The therapist said he was a little worried about what he’d encounter after reading the notes on Nigel’s chart. After the evaluation, he said Nigel was really doing quite well, and he was confident improvements could and would be made! I mean, the surgeon has told us he’d walk again, but to hear it from another person not connected in any way to that practice was truly music to my ears! And, the church retreat went very well. A lot of that had to do with the planning abilities of our chairperson. She’s a former first grade teacher so you know she knows how to organize and wrestle chaos into submission! Due to how late it is, I’m once again abbreviating this week’s post. I apologize because I know y’all love to see those featured posts. I promise to be better! Thanks, Laura! It has been a wonderful week! Next week, I think I’m seeing my youngest granddaughter in a concert, too. She plays violin, and I’m always so impressed by the kids and teachers. I can’t imagine teaching so many kids how to play so many different instruments. The retreat really was good for my soul…especially after I was done!
Grandchildren are wonderful & watching them grow is also wonderful; I’m glad to read you had a wonderful time. I’m glad to read also that Nigel has had good news, and is recovering well.
