Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot

Week #33

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food for Hungry People, and Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, are joining me for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. But, we’d love to have even more co-hosts. If you’re interested, please comment or email me!

Well, the weather has definitely changed here in Central Indiana! We’ve had freeze warnings so I had to hurry up and get plants dug up, covered, or prepped for winter. Then, to add insult to injury, it snowed on Halloween! Luckily, my trick or treat days are behind me

The three of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

  1. Hi Marsha thanks for the link up which I’ve joined. Some good posts last week.

  2. Thanks for hosting Marsha! Snow? Oh my, I hate that, lol. Have a good weekend.

    • You are so welcome, Nancy! The snow didn’t stick around…it was just falling and melting! Have a wonderful weekend and start to the week!

  3. Thanks Marsha, I’m glad we have spring down here but snow seems early for you!

    • It is a little early for snow, but it’s not unusual to have snowflakes on Halloween. There have also been years when kids have to make last minute changes to their costumes as they’d be too warm!

      Thanks, Deb, for coming by!

  4. Oh, it’s snowing there, and you’ve even received a freeze warning – it’s still autumn here, and it’s starting to get cold after a light rain today. The cold winter is really hard for me~

    • It snowed, but it melted before it even hit the ground. We are warming back up next week. I love cold weather…from inside my house!

      Thanks, Kristen, for coming by!

  5. I just love Jacqui’s fall look! Thanks for the party!

  6. We’ve had some really cold mornings this week. It is back to milder temps this weekend but I am hoping to still rock some layers.

    • We’re supposed to have a heat wave…up to the 60s next week! I’m ready for the snuggly weather, though!

      Thanks, Mireille, for coming by!

  7. I’m so glad we didn’t get any of the snowy/wintery mix they predicted for us this week; the cold and frosty mornings have been shocking enough. I am so glad the dealership was finally able to get my new heated steering wheel installed last month; it sure has come in handy lately!

    • Oh, a heated steering wheel? I’ve never had one of those, but I do love heated seats. I told Mike our next car WILL have those! We didn’t get any accumulation, but it was strange to see snowflakes because the summer seemed to last forever.

      Thanks, Joanne, for coming by!

  8. I have to read the one about the past…off to check it out.

  9. Thanks for hosting this party, Marsha, there are always interesting posts and great ideas. Thanks so much for the feature for “A Little Vignette”. It’s fun to find a corner somewhere and add a little color. Have a great week.

  13. Do we have some fun topics/questions for Friday’s 10 on the 10th yet? Just trying to stay a bit ahead on my blogging this busy season. Thanks!

    • Thanks for the reminder, Joanne! I just kept putting it off. You should have gotten an email with the link to the post.
