Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Week #39

Welcome to another edition of Weekend Traffic Jam. Look for the link up to go live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT. Melynda, from Scratch Made Food for Hungry People, and Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, are joining me for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. But, we’d love to have even more co-hosts. If you’re interested, please comment or email me!

I finally baked some Christmas cookies, but my frosting was a bit wonky. Ah, well, the cookies taste good so there’s that. Nigel and I saw the van Gogh Lume exhibit at Newfields today. It was very good, but I think I liked the Monet exhibit better. I’ve got a mountain of Christmas presents to wrap, and a few bits and bobs yet to buy. It will all get done, I think. This will be my last post prior to Christmas so I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

The three of us would like to see the Weekend Traffic Jam grow bigger, so please link up your favorite posts! They can be fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it! Please visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those linked! And, please spread the word about Weekend Traffic Jam!

  1. Hi Marsha I will put my hand up to co-host Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot. Can you email what is required? Thanks Sue!

  2. I liked the Van Gogh one -it was very sad. the gunshot crack was disturbing.

    • Lydia…I actually jumped when that happened. I wasn’t expecting it at all. And, then to understand it was probably van Gogh himself shooting…I just kept thinking that poor, poor man.

Thank you, Lydia, for coming by!

  3. Thanks for hosting Marsha and enjoy your weekend!

  9. It’s great to see the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot continuing with Melynda and Lisa joining in! 🚗 Baking Christmas cookies, even with wonky frosting, sounds like a delightful festive activity. The van Gogh Lume exhibit at Newfields and the Monet exhibit must have been incredible experiences. Wishing you the best as you tackle the Christmas present wrapping and last-minute shopping. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you too! 🎄 Excited to see the Weekend Traffic Jam community grow, and looking forward to more amazing posts.

    • Thanks, Melody! The cookies tasted good so that’s what counts (unless you’re giving them away). I really hope there is another exhibition like these two. I love art though I’m not good at it. I hope your holidays are wonderful!
